Is EzyRec really free?

Yes. EzyRec is free to download and use, with no time limit and no subscription. Free exports carry a small watermark. A one-time purchase removes it for good.

How do I remove the watermark?

Open EzyRec, choose Remove Watermark, and complete the one-time purchase through the App Store. The watermark disappears from your exports right away.

I bought the unlock on another Mac. How do I get it back?

Use Restore Purchase in EzyRec. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with, your unlock is restored at no extra cost.

Does my recording leave my Mac?

No. EzyRec records and renders everything on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded, and your recordings are saved only where you choose. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

How do I record my voice or the audio from my screen?

Turn on the microphone and system-audio toggles in the recording panel before you start. The first time, macOS will ask permission to use your microphone. You can also pick which microphone to use in the panel.

How does the zoom work?

Move your mouse to what matters and press the zoom key. EzyRec glides in toward your cursor. Press it again to glide back out. You choose every zoom, so nothing happens on a stray click.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Request one through Apple's Report a Problem page.

What do I need to run EzyRec?

EzyRec runs on recent versions of macOS. The App Store listing shows the exact requirement and will only offer the app on a Mac that can run it.
